Member of 'National Expert Round Table Panel' on Bariatric anaesthesia and currently in process of publishing guidelines for safe anaesthesia in bariatrics. Lecturer on bariatric anaesthesia for Northwest anaesthetic trainees. Commencing research shortly on use of novel analgesic device for bariatric patients.

Chris is the lead of the dietetic weight management team at Salford Royal Hospital. His area of speciality is the dietetic management of bariatric surgery. He also works in general weight management and using pharmacotherapy to help patients lose weight. Salford Royal Hospital is the regional centre for Obesity Surgery. The Department of Obesity Surgery performs over 500 obesity surgery each year. Advanced
